Are award shows these days basing the winner decision on popularity, quality of product, money, or a name? I be watching these shows and it seems that the person with the best work dont win, but the person with the biggest name will take home gold. Example, Eminem. Now I aint no Em hater, but c'mon, Video Of The Year (hiphop) ?? Seriously?? Em only got that award because he's Em. He been gone for a minute and jumped back on the scene, so hell they GOT to give him that award, along with every other award in the rap catagory.
Kid Cudi should've won Video Of The Year (hiphop). His Pursuit Of Happiness is the truth and there's no denying that, a blind man could see the REAL winner in that catagory. But again, when your name's Kid Cudi goin against Eminem who u think they gonna give it to. Its all a popularity contest between the network and label heads. U give this award to my artist or we stop messing with your network and if we stop messing with your network your gonna feel the loss because our following is just that strong.
