We at 2TWENTY2Media got a lot going on this month with our artists. We want you all to come out and show your support for 2 of New Orleans most talented rappers at upcoming venues and be sure to check below for this months Featured Event.

1.Friday May 7th at the Red Velvet come party wit Caesar and the Posterchild fam as we celebrate the release of the mixtape Pretty Ugly 3. They say 3rd times a charm but 1 and 2 were amazing so we bout to redefine that saying. 10pm til

2.Saturday May 8th at The Howeling Wolf Lounge come see E-Nyce perform his street anthem Mind Made Up produced by Kut Cre@or. If you were at the last Soundclash then you know how E-Nyce is coming, mad lyrics and high energy. This is going to be a must see performance. 10pm til.

2TWENTY2 FEATURED EVENT

Come out May 21st at 8 to see and be apart of the NOLA Spring Fling fashion show. This is going to be an event for the fly, with multiple performances by local favorites and a special performance by Posterchild's own Caesar. Come at 7 and join the Posterchild fam as we get waisted and celebrate success, just another night, another party, a million reasons to love life and strive for greatness.

Codac: Act Like U Know Me

It was Sunday April 25th when I downloaded the Codac Weed N Froot Loops mixtape. Put my headphones on blast, sat back and vibed out to the kid. That same day I hit him up lettin him know much I was feelin the mixtape and that I wanted to do short interview for the site, and that same day he hit me back like 'O Lets Do It!!' *not in those exact words tho* I co-sign Weed N Froot Loops as being one of the hottest newly released mixtapes from a local artist and if ur not familiar, u need to b. But for right now get to know a lil bit about the rapper who goes by the name Codac.

Ufrontin: how long you been rapping?

Codac: I been rapping since I was like 9 years old. Didn’t take it serious until I got out of high school.

UF: what made you start rapping?

C: I always liked words. Wrote poetry & essays and it just went from there. Im addicted now lol

UF: what sets you apart from other rappers?

C: I’m me. Nobody can be me but me so im gonna always be different.

UF: describe your flow and the type of music you make?

C: that’s really hard to describe. I try to become one with the beat like just another instrument. The type of music I make is good music. I never wanna be locked in a certain type of music because that limits your audience. I want everybody to like something made by me.

UF: what are your favorite types of beats to rap over?

C: as long as its hot I’ll get on it. It all depnds on the type of day I’m having to determine which beat I’ll punish next.

UF: #1 collab with a rapper or singer that hasn't happened yet, who would you want it to be and why?

C: It would be a tie between Luda & Mystikal. Theyre my two favorite rappers & both go harder on other people tracks so I would love the competition. As far as a singer it would have to be Alicia Keys. I’m a huge fan of her music. She’s like the only singer that really uses metaphors to describe emotions.

UF: what do you bring to the rap game?

C: a whole lot of energy. I feel I’m what the game needs but the people just don’t know it yet.

UF: what is the 10 finger orchestra?

C: the 10 finger orchestra is good music. Check out the music & you will see we mean business.

UF: finish this statement "when it comes to this rap game I_______"

C: wanna be the best lyricist, songwriter and richest of them all.

UF: what is your ultimate goal for your rap career?

C: I want to be able to put everybody in my circle in much better positions. I want to bring the industry to New Orleans instead of everybody feeling like they gotta move away to get on.

The kid Codac. In my book Im marking dude down as one of the real one's you should definitly take a listen to. Being a down to earth kool kat is a vital step when it comes to making it in the game, and Cadac's well on his way to making his mark, putting his team on, and making the industry understand that we have REAL talent down here in New Orleans.
